Choice and Consent in Research

The Sun Life Centre for Healthy Communities (CHC) regularly conducts research to understand what participants and parents/guardians think about our programs, measure how well programs are meeting their goals, and learn how to make our programs even better. Taking part in CHC research is completely voluntary.

We make sure participants and parents/guardians understand why the research is being done, what the possible benefits and risks are, and how information will be kept safe and shared. For specific information about consent for research related to our programs, select a heading below.
